An ustaz and former religious-school teacher who studied at Al-Azhar University, Hasnul Hakimi Hussein is a Perikatan Nasional (PAS) candidate and serves as PAS Mersing's information chief and deputy youth chief.

Background

  • Stands on a PAS ticket within Perikatan Nasional for Endau, one of PAS's 11 Johor candidates in 2026.[1]
  • Education: a student at Al-Azhar University, Egypt; STAM at Maahad Johor; SPM at SMA Al-Khairiah Al-Islamiah Mersing; and the Johor state religious-school special certificate at Sekolah Agama Sri Pantai.[2]
  • A former teacher at Sekolah Agama Bukit Timbalan (2014) and SRITI At-Taqwa religious primary school, Mersing (2024-2026); a freelance designer and a PAS Academic Influencer (AIP).[2]
