A two-term Endau incumbent, Alwiyah Talib won the seat on a UMNO ticket in 2018 and retained it on a Bersatu/PN ticket in 2022 with a 3,041 majority; the former Bersatu Mersing division chief rejoined UMNO in June 2026 as the BN candidate, and is president of the Malaysian Netball Association (PBJM) and the Johor Netball Association (PBJNJ).

  • Born 26 September 1961 in Mersing, Johor.[1]
  • Won Endau in 2018 (on a UMNO ticket) and 2022 (on a Bersatu/PN ticket, 54.50% of the vote, a 3,041 majority).[1]
  • A former Bersatu Mersing division chief; left Bersatu and rejoined UMNO on 4 June 2026 before being named the BN candidate.[1]
  • President of the Malaysian Netball Association (PBJM) and of the Johor Netball Association (PBJNJ).[2][3]
