- Educated at the Royal Military College and holds a degree in accounting from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.[1]
- UMNO Johor state chairman and Johor BN chairman; entered politics in 2006.[1]
- The 19th Menteri Besar of Johor since 15 March 2022; Layang-Layang assemblyman (2018-2022) before moving to win Machap in 2022 with a 6,543 majority.[1]
- A Shariah lawyer and accredited mediator, fielded by Amanah as a young leader chosen on qualifications and community involvement.[1]
- Born 18 January 1985 (aged 41) and from Kluang, Johor; runs the law firm Tetuan Nur Hafiz & Associates.[2]
- Holds a Bachelor of Shariah and Law (Hons) from Universiti Malaya (2004-2008) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice (Hons) from UiTM (2009-2011); a licensed mediator with The Accord Group, Australia (2017).[2]
