Former Chief Imam of Johor and Al-Azhar University graduate, Abd Mutalip Abd Rahim is the two-term Layang-Layang assemblyman who served as Johor's executive councillor for religious affairs from 2013 to 2018 and joined Bersatu (PN) in June 2026 after quitting UMNO.
