A great-grandson of Onn Jaafar and grandson of third Prime Minister Hussein Onn, Onn Hafiz Ghazi has served as the 19th Menteri Besar of Johor since March 2022, chairs UMNO Johor and Johor BN, and represents Machap in the state assembly.

  • Born 2 March 1979 in Simpang Renggam, Kluang; a great-grandson of Onn Jaafar and grandson of the third Prime Minister, Hussein Onn.[1]
  • Educated at the Royal Military College and holds a degree in accounting from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.[1]
  • UMNO Johor state chairman and Johor BN chairman; entered politics in 2006.[1]
  • The 19th Menteri Besar of Johor since 15 March 2022; Layang-Layang assemblyman (2018-2022) before moving to win Machap in 2022 with a 6,543 majority.[1]
