Medical doctor Ruban Arumugam operates the Shasta polyclinics in Kluang and Paloh, has served on the DAP Johor State Executive Committee since October 2024, and entered politics to push for health-system reform after facing a ventilator shortage while treating a newborn.
Deputy chairman of MIPP Johor and treasurer of Perikatan Nasional Johor, Dr Jeevakumar Dayalan is one of five candidates fielded by MIPP under Perikatan Nasional in the party's electoral debut at the 2026 Johor election.
