Wanita UMNO member and BN assemblywoman for Parit Raja (N22) since May 2018, Nor Rashidah Ramli first contested the seat as Johor's sole Puteri UMNO candidate, winning with a majority of 638 in 2018 and 4,219 in 2022.
A constituency officer for almost eight years under the Penggaram assemblyman and patron of the Batu Pahat Deaf Association, Shazwan Zdainal Abidin learned Malaysian Sign Language to communicate with the deaf community and stands for DAP.
Director of the International Youth Centre Kuala Lumpur and a USM PhD holder, Mohamed Maliki Mohamed Rapiee is a former president of the Malaysian Youth Council (2010-2014) and secretary-general of the Asian Youth Council spanning 49 countries, a Sri Gading native standing for Bersatu.
Background

- A former president of the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) from 2010 to 2014.[1]
- A Sri Gading native aged 52, who attended secondary school at SMK Munshi Sulaiman, Parit Raja.[1]
- Director of the International Youth Centre Kuala Lumpur since 2015 and a former senior assistant registrar at Universiti Sains Malaysia (1999-2015); holds a PhD in Counselor Education, a Master of Education and a BA in Geography, all from USM.[2]
