Background

• Born 28 August 1988 in Pontian, Johor; holds a diploma and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH).[1]
• Won the Pulai Sebatang state seat in 2018 (49.85% of the vote) and served as its assemblyman from 2018 to 2022.[1]
• Lost the Mahkota seat in 2022 with 30.67% of the vote.[1]
• Former deputy youth chief of Amanah (2020-2023) and Johor Amanah youth chief.[1]
• Chief executive (CEO) of the JohorKini news portal; has been appointed to the Johor State Sports Council and the Johor State Library board (2018-2019).[2]
• Besides chairing Johor Amanah Youth, he is also Pakatan Harapan's Johor youth chief and director of the national Amanah Youth elections bureau.[2]
• Pontian-born and the son of a teacher who moved around for work; when he contested Mahkota in 2022 he was labelled an "outsider", but insisted he would serve wherever he is posted.[3]
