A civil engineer (Ir. Ts.) with a UTHM master's and former engineering chief at Muar Municipal Council, Nazri Abd Rahman won Simpang Jeram for PH at the 2023 by-election and remains Johor's only Amanah assemblyman.

A civil and Syariah lawyer of nearly a decade, Ainie Haziqah Shafii has been MUDA's Secretary-General since 2025, founded the Happy Bank NGO in 2015, and gives pro bono legal aid to people affected by statelessness.

  • An engineer with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM); a Professional Engineer (Ir.) and Professional Technologist (Ts.), and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer.[4]
  • Served as Head of the Engineering Department at Muar Municipal Council (MPM).[5][1]
  • An Amanah member and deputy chief of the Bakri division, and the only Amanah assemblyman in Johor.[5][2][6]
  • Won the 2023 Simpang Jeram by-election with 13,844 votes (3,514 majority) and was sworn in as assemblyman on 14 September 2023.[7]
