Known as 'Tok Ai', Mohd Azahar Ibrahim is a former land administrator and UMNO Labis division chief who won the 2011 Tenang by-election and served two terms as Tenang assemblyman (2011-2018); he is now an independent non-executive director of Boustead Plantations Berhad and a UTM board member.

Background
- Holds a Bachelor of Political Science (Hons) from the University of Portsmouth, UK (1996) and a Diploma in Public Administration from ITM.[1]
- A career land administrator: assistant land administrator in Kluang (1997-2000) and Segamat (2000-2006), then Rengit assistant district officer (2006-2011), followed by various Johor state government posts (2012-2018).[1]
- UMNO Labis division chief and a former Labis UMNO Youth treasurer; won the 2013 general election and served as Tenang assemblyman for two terms (2011-2018).[2]
- Won the 2011 Tenang by-election for BN with 69% of the vote (majority 3,707), defeating PAS's Normala Sudirman.[3]
- Independent non-executive director of Boustead Plantations Berhad, effective 5 August 2022.[1][4]
- Appointed to the Board of Directors of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), effective 26 March 2025.[5]
