Background
- State assemblyman for Sungai Lui since 2013, holding the seat for three terms on a falling vote share: 74.8% in 2013, 62.6% in 2018 and 52.0% in 2023.[1]
- An education officer for 18 years, from 1995 to 2013, teaching agricultural science.[2]
- Schooled at Sekolah Menengah Batu Kikir, took a basic teaching certificate in living skills at Maktab Perguruan Temenggong Ibrahim in 1995, and a Bachelor of Education in agricultural science at Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2005.[2]
- Deputy chief of the UMNO Jelebu division since 2018, after serving as division vice-chief from 2013 to 2018 and division youth chief from 2008 to 2013. Also a former information chief of UMNO Youth in Negeri Sembilan.[2]
- Received the Excellent Service Award in 2000 and 2009 during his teaching career.[2]
- Born on 1 April 1973.[1]
