  • Promoted from deputy to chief of the MCA Tanjung Piai division on 12 June 2023, and became a vice-chairman of the MCA Johor State Liaison Committee on 10 November 2023.[1]
  • Contested Pekan Nanas in 2018 and lost to Yeo Tung Siong, before capturing the seat in 2022 (50.49%, a 4,835 majority).[2]
  • As assemblyman he has pressed for flood mitigation in Pekan Nanas, hit by flooding three times in 2025, backing a proposed RM8.9 million Drainage and Irrigation Department project involving a flap gate and dredging.[3]
  • His initiatives include promoting eco-tourism around the area's pineapple plantations, relocating a community-based rehabilitation centre, and providing tuition classes for school students.[4]
  • Born 25 April 1979; a former teacher and deputy headmaster at Pei Chun High School, and a Universiti Teknologi Malaysia graduate.[1]
