Chairman of the MCA Johor Bahru division and a Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB) councillor for the Stulang zone for four years, also the MCA whip for the party's councillors at MBJB.[1][2]
As an MBJB councillor he highlighted pilot projects installing decorative LED lights along the Stulang Laut and Lido beachfronts and a rollout of smart LED streetlights for public safety.[2]
