Background

• A Johor Bahru city councillor (MBJB), assistant secretary of MCA Johor, and a member of the state volunteer team; she has served at the grassroots in Johor Jaya for over 10 years.[1]
• Contested Johor Jaya in 2022 and lost to Liow Cai Tung (DAP) with 37.68% of the vote.[2]
• Her four campaign priorities for Johor Jaya: reviving the old-town economy, easing traffic congestion, turning Johor Jaya into a north-east Johor Bahru transport hub linked to the RTS project, and building a safer, more liveable community.[1]
• During the 2022 campaign, challenged the DAP incumbent to a debate in Malay after her Malay fluency was questioned.[3]
• One of four women among MCA's candidates in the BN line-up for the 2026 Johor election.[2]
