Background

  • Aged 51; a private-school teacher and one of only two women among PAS's 11 Johor candidates, alongside Normala Sudirman who stands in Tenang.[1]
  • Not new to elections: she stood for PAS in the P155 Tenggara parliamentary seat at GE14 (2018), finishing third with 2,683 votes (6.0%) and losing to Adham Baba (BN).[2][3]
