Professional engineer (Ir. Ts.) Mohamad Fazli won Bukit Pasir for BN on his 2022 electoral debut by just 198 votes and has served as Johor executive councillor since March 2022, chairing the works, transport, infrastructure and communications committee.
A retired army captain (Kapten (B)) who served as Bukit Pasir assemblyman from 2018 to 2022, Muhd Najib now stands for Amanah under Pakatan Harapan and chairs Yayasan Kesuma Budi and the NL Response Team, a volunteer relief and welfare group.
