- Born 30 December 1976 in Kampung Layang-Layang, Kluang; raised in Felda Pemanis, Segamat.[1]
- Holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, Australia (1995), after a diploma in IT.[1]
- Member of Parliament for Sekijang from 2013 to 2018.[1]
- Assemblyman for Pemanis since March 2022 and UMNO Sekijang deputy division chief.[1]
- Won Pemanis in 2022 with 53.43% of the vote, after losing the Kemelah state seat in 2018.[1]
