Background

Born 26 September 1961 in Mersing, Johor.[1]
Won Endau in 2018 (on a UMNO ticket) and 2022 (on a Bersatu/PN ticket, 54.50% of the vote, a 3,041 majority).[1]
A former Bersatu Mersing division chief; left Bersatu and rejoined UMNO on 4 June 2026 before being named the BN candidate.[1]
