Shazwan Zdainal Abidin
A constituency officer for almost eight years under the Penggaram assemblyman and patron of the Batu Pahat Deaf Association, Shazwan Zdainal Abidin learned Malaysian Sign Language to communicate with the deaf community and contests N22 for DAP.
Background
- A native of Batu Pahat who grew up and was schooled there; married with four children.[1]
- Served almost eight years (two terms) as an officer to the Penggaram assemblyman.[1]
- Active in helping NGOs; a patron of the Batu Pahat Deaf Association and learned Malaysian Sign Language to communicate with deaf constituents.[1]
- Aims to bring government services and agencies closer to the Parit Raja community, since most government offices sit in Batu Pahat town.[1]
